Concept #1: Baby bird star gazing.
Concept #2: Glow in the Dark stars on mama bird's butt so he can always sees the stars.
Concept #3: Spaceship mom
Concept #4: Baby bird being made fun of.
Concept #5: Pond area that could be baby bird's little space.
These are really great! I especially like the first two: the contrast between the tiny bird and the vast night sky is really lovely! The mother bird's expression in the second one is very funny and sweet, as though she doesn't quite get her little baby but she loves him anyways. I think the gesture of the little bird in the fourth one where he's getting made fun of is really great, but something you might want to do would be to draw the other birds in a way that shows them making fun of him so you wouldn't need the words and speech bubble to explain it. If you had them in more of a profile view you could show them pointing or bent back laughing or something which would also get the idea across. And I know this is just concept art, but for the pond scene, I think it would be really cool to have a really wide view where it's just the light from the bugs and at first you can't tell that it's a pond. I really like the mood you set with the colors though!
